Create a Bootable USB

Make a bootable USB for Altima Linux on Windows or Linux with HelpR for multi-ISO support.
While Balena Etcher offers the simplest single-ISO method for macOS users.

For Windows Users

Use Altima HelpR for Windows.

  1. Click Download Altima Linux ISO (Link Below).
  2. Download HelpR-Windows.zip
  3. Unzip HelpR-Windows.zip
  4. Navigate to Unziped folder.
  5. Insert a USB stick (8 GB +).
  6. Run HelpR.exe.
  7. Click Install.
  8. Close HelpR
  9. Copy Altima Linux ISO from Downloads to USB stick Labeled Altima

Tip: Press F12 or Esc at startup to open your PC’s boot menu.

For macOS Users

On macOS, use Balena Etcher.

✅ Recommended: Balena Etcher (Simple & Native)

  1. Click Download Altima Linux ISO (Link Below).
  2. Install Balena Etcher.
  3. Insert a USB stick (8 GB or larger).
  4. Open Etcher → Select Image → Select Target → Flash!
  5. Eject the USB when done. Boot your Intel/AMD PC or hold Option (⌥) on an Intel Mac to boot the USB.

For Linux Users

Use Altima HelpR for Linux

Using HelpR

  1. Click Download Altima Linux ISO (Link Below).
  2. Download HelpR-Linux.zip
  3. Navigate to Downloads and Extract Here on HelpR-Linux.zip.
  4. Right Click extracted HelpR-Linux folder and Open in Terminal
  5. Insert a USB (8 GB +)
  6. Run sudo chmod +x HelpR.sh && ./HelpR.sh.
  7. click Install
  8. Now copy the Altima Linux ISO from Downloads to the USB device labeled Ventoy
